feels weird like i already populated my mastodon acct but as far as i can tell pixelfed is a different thing so i'm going to be maintaining both, viva la federated social media or whatever 🤘🏼

@abonbon You can have both if you like, I know plenty of people who do. 🙂 But in regards to federation, people on Pixelfed can follow your Mastodon account and see whenever you post an image there. You can see what that looks like by looking up your Mastodon account from your Pixelfed server. I think people who maintain two accounts mostly do that with the goal of having slightly different audiences or content strategies. I'm following both of your acounts now. Best of luck!
